"Egypt put US down on its knees" Egyptian media ...................... Really!!!

Everyday in Egyptian media you hear that Egypt put US down on its knees, and day after day you start to ask yourself really? is that even possible right now? I mean do we in our current condition have the might to put US on its knees? and why would we? aren't we supposed to be allies?

US Vs. Egypt
US Vs. Egypt

Really?

No, simply no, because not El-Sisi's visit to Russia will do that nor our hallucinating media will force me to believe that because if you really want to put someone on its knees you need to have an upper hand first.

Is that even possible right now?

No, it is not possible right now simply because we rely on US at many aspects right now.
Financially  we take US aid every year and we really in need for it as you may know that our economy is going from bad to worse for the past three years and that means we are in need for every dime.

Do we in our current condition have the might to put US on its knees?

No, talking about might takes me to a comparison between both Egyptian armed forces and US armed forces:

Egypt
USA
Active Military
468,500 Ranked(10)
1,429,995 Ranked(2)
Reserve Military
479,000
850,880
Budget
USD 7.85 billion (2012) including USD 1.6 billion of U.S military aid annually
682.0 billion (FY2013)
Budget Percent of GDP
~3.12% (2009)
4.9% (2011 est.)
Weapon industry
Self + USA + Russia + France + China + North Korea + Italy + United Kingdom + Bulgaria
Self

History of wars engaged by both armies since 1970:

Egypt:

1-War of Attrition.
2-October War.
3-Shaba I
4-Libyan–Egyptian War
5-Gulf War
6-Sinai insurgency

USA:

1-Vietnam War (1959–1975)
2-Multinational Force in Lebanon (1982)
3-1983 Beirut barracks bombing (1983)
4-Invasion of Grenada (1983)
5-Invasion of Panama (1989-1990)
6-Persian Gulf War (1990–1991)
7-Kosovo War (1999)
8-Global War on Terrorism (2001–present)
9-War in Afghanistan (2001–present)
10-Iraq War (2003–2011)

Conclusion: Army wise Egyptian Army is less in numbers budget and real war training, however USA lost some of those wars but if a real war erupted between Egypt and USA we will lose simply because we don't have radical Islamists that would fight US army in mountains to tire them up actually our islamists will fight our army with the US army, and I know it never was an army vs army and other countries will be involved but I am comparing the 2 armies right now.

Why would we put US down on its knees? Aren't we supposed to be allies?

Simply because every middle eastern leader that want people support would convince people that he is America's enemy, why? because people in that part of the world raised up to the thought that America is conspiring upon them upon their country and upon their religion specially Islam, but the real issue is our leaders are the ones conspiring upon us and they are the ones that like to see their people sink in ignorance and poverty so they wont find neither the time nor the power to ask for their rights.
And yes at the official side we are allies and best friends as a famous American politician said once, but as I mentioned officially we are and locally we aren't.

We the Egyptians used to lay our mistakes on every possible and impossible reason other than we are doing something wrong, and that is why we want to put our misery on US shoulder while we are the reason for our own misery, and as long as we don't admit it we will keep sinking in this swamp of shit we living at, and we will keep believing the ignorance and hallucinations of our media and go to sleep with a big smile on our faces that we put US down on its knees, while in fact we simply can't because we simply aren't in the upper position to do so.

Last advice: Don't live your life for nothing but putting others on their knees whoever they are because if you did so one time you will realize that even when they are on their knees they still higher than you because they kept growing and you didn't.

This post is meant to be a wake up call for ignorant and hallucinating Egyptian media and their believers.
